Score!

These things are beat to hell, but it doesn't matter, because the words on the pages are fucking awesome!

  1. For something that old, they ain't in too bad of shape from what I can see! You should see how some of my 80-year old pulp magazines look!

  2. J - great score! They are awesome reads with some witchy shit in them! Not necessarily looking forward to the horrors you mine out of them...

  3. Result! These three books are some of my most treasured possessions. I can still dip into them after all these years and find a new piece of inspiration.

  5. This looks very awesome, the sort of thing one finds in a treasure chest. Only... what is it? :)

  6. Slippery slope, my friend.

Arduin is the gateway drug to ever more obscure offerings.

  7. @Ohio: The covers are falling off, and some have water damage, but I have yet to find anything that obscured or damaged any text, which is the important part to me.

@Art: Yeah, there is some great stuff to bash players over the head with here. On the flipside of that, I know some of my regular players would submit themselves to the horrors of 3d6 in order if it gave them a shot at playing some of these wacky races and classes.

@SirTim: For sure. Looking at these makes me frown at how uncreative I am. This guy was a mad genius!

@DangerousB: I got these at what I thought was a very reasonable price. Less than a Pathfinder hardcover. If you are interested and aren't looking for collectible quality, just do a bit of patient searching, and I'm sure you can score them.

@Urikson: It's the original Arduin Trilogy. More info can be found here, although it's wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt. You should get the gist of it though.

@Paladin: know where I can get some harder stuff?
